Sacha Dudok van Heel

Originally from Switzerland I now live on the Sussex Downs with my 3 wonderful children, Noah 6, Jaia 5 and Sofia 1 and my activist husband Oliver! I have thoroughly enjoyed travelling the world but now feel blessed to have settled down into such a beautiful place to live.

My environmental objectives: To help change our selfish and greedy society

People I admire: Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, Jesus, "Buddha", Bob and Bonno, Satish Kumar, my hubbie Oliver and people who have the passion to follow their dreams come what may!

Things I would like to change: For a start put an end to third world poverty and clean water for everyone

Activities: mostly taking care of my family but when I have time I love walking, Nia dancing, swimming in the sea, trying out new recipes,reading, knitting, skiing, doing fundraising through clothes swap parties, gardening, watching the sunset and spending time with family + friends

Interests: Nature, People, Nutrition, alternative healthcare, Psychology, reading, music + dance

Favourite music: One Giant Leap, Show of Hands, Elvis, Shubert's Ave Maria, African tribal music the occasional good trance! and much much more...

Favourite films: Crash, Dead Man Walking, Little Miss Sunshinne,Harold and Maud, The story of the weeping camel, It's a Wonderful Life...that's what comes to mind just now

Favourite TV shows: Don't watch it much ...

Favourite books: To kill a Mocking Bird, The Kite Runner, The Power of Now... and books about people with interesting, unconventional and alternative lifestyles
