I live in Maidstone; Have been interested in the environment since long before the government was, since the early 1980's. Get really angry about how slowly things have moved on, despite action groups such as Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth. All comes down to money in the end. However, I have brought my family up to be interested in green issues, and to be respectful of this planet.
I am vegetarian, and eat/purchase organic products wherever possible, whilst being aware of the process of getting them to the shops - not always as green as one might expect!
I use recycled, and second hand where possible.
