I believe that we live in a time where we cannot afford to live as we have lived. We cannot afford to progress as we have progressed, and we have to redefine the way we interact with the rest of the planet. I believe we are all responsible to some degree for the state we've brought Earth into, but it is also in our power to achieve a state of sustainable living and symbiotic survival with all species on this planet, and the planet itself.

I also believe things must change, and things must change now. I believe that the current sociopolitical systems prevalent around the world are inadequate to deal with the real problems of the world, and we have to take responsibilites on our own hands.

The well-being of our environment is something that should concern all of us. It is not fair that the degree of our influence in terms of helping the environment depends on each person's financial situation, and it is certainly not democratic. We might not get a second chance, so let's make sure we're making the right choices today.

Don't waste your intellectual and physical capacity by becoming a victim of consumerism, and passive bystander in what is soon going to be a world full of changes. The time will come when we'll have to choose between what is easy, and what is right. Become part of the change, so when your grandchildren ask you "So what did you do about the environment?" you will have a whole story to tell.
