Nicola Cleminson

I am a cheery person who loves spending time with others and trying new activities. I am quite chatty and love organising events! I love submerging myself in different cultures and like to think that I get on with most people.

My environmental objectives: To do my best to help make the world a greener, lovelier place for myself and future generations. To keep it beautiful and work on increasing awareness of the beautiful countryside this country has to offer to inspire other people to want to do more.

People I admire: Anyone who is not afraid to be who they are and does not try to fit in through manipulation from society.

Things I would like to change: Too much green space being lost due to reasons such as housing development and wasteland. Increasing renewable energy usage as much as possible. Recyling and cutting down waste as individuals. Making corporate organisations more aware of the impact they are having in an effort to promote a change of attitude.

Activities: When I can I love to go swimming. I love travelling and being in new places. I very much enjoy work on events and productions in any capacity and supporting the up and coming.

Interests: So as I said, I love trying new things. Singing, Reading, socialising, films, painting, crafts, exploring and Music.

Favourite music: I love so much it's so hard to specify. Eva Cassidy, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Wilco and soooo much more! Pink, Jose Gonzalez, Elbow, Magic Numbers, Rodrigez y Gabriella, Gorgol Bordello, The Editors, The Cranberries. Get cape, wear cape, fly. Like to go along to lots of local gigs - a wealth of talent! Fat Boy Slim, Chemical Brothers.

Favourite films: Jurrassic Park. Whale Rider. Freedom Writers. Rebecca. So bloody much actually. Hot Fuzz. Ever After. Harry Potter (sorry :@( )Die Hard Quadrilogy.

Favourite TV shows: Scrubs, Adverts (you get some awesome ones!)Gavin and Stacey.

Favourite books: Stuart. Clockwork Orange. Lovely Bones. The Wasp Factory. Alias Grace. ........

I believe you're one of our new ambassadors, congratulations.
I do media stuff for the site, and I see you're into theatre, which is cool because I studied Drama and Theatre myself.

So you're a good organiser right? Have any events coming up that are green-related? If so, drop me a shout and I'll absolutely come video it and give the event a bit of coverage, pre, live, or post - whatever you like.
