Animals Count is a political party that aims to take animals issues to the top of the political agenda. We do this by setting the best policies for animals and encouraging existing political parties to become more animal friendly. We intend to contest UK elections and European Parliament elections.
Animals Count is active in England, Wales and Scotland. Its co-founder and Chair, Jasmijn de Boo, was an active member of the highly successful Dutch Political 'Party for the Animals', which gained two seats in the general election in November 2006, nine seats in the Provincial elections in March 2007 and one seat in the Senate in June 2007 - a world first!
