Battery eggs are a cruel industry.
It is cruel and there has been research to indicate battey farm chickens are more likely to contain samonella.

Please do your bit and only buy free range/organic eggs.

Free range eggs have been shown to be healthier. In my opinion they taste better and they leave your conscience lighter.
Most people don't even check the label on their eggs. More people need to know about this terrible industry.
