Presentation Madidi Project

We are a group of professionals, whom had started a worldwide campaign in order to guarantee the protection and conservation of Madidi park, because in the last weeks there had been found invasions from peasants, wood trafficants, live animals treaters, army, cocaine factories and others.

We've developed a campaign composed by the following activities:

A worldwide petition for Mister General Director of UNESCO, DONE: www.petitiononline.com/dgquest.

A multilingual information webpage DONE: http://www.madidi.co.nr/.

Create webcommunities in Greenvoice, for example.

Until the 10:28 hours (Bolivian time) of June 15th 2007, we've recollected 3286 signatures from almost 60 countries, so in order to continue with our campaign, we've planned the following activities:

• 1) Film a documentary about Madidi Park, and Project it worldwide, part of the ticket incomes will be used in order to create a fund for conservation and protection. Right now we are working in the script.
• 2) National education campaign in Bolivia about Madidi Park and its importance for the humanity as an unique richness of the world.
• 3) Ecotouristic development Project in Madidi Park, and other natural reserves of Bolivia.
• 4) Sustainable development Project in populations around the park, including agricultural products with added value
