How you can help

Clothes Swaps are where you clear out your unwanted clothes and get together with a group of people and swap them for clothes you would wear. Not only do these events save you money they also help save the environment as in the UK alone 1.2 million tonnes of clothing waste every year go to UK landfills, releasing methane which is a powerful climate-changing gas (Source: DirectGov, Act on CO2).

So instead of throwing away your clothes or buying cheap clothes from Primark have your friends over and have a clothes swap party!

I am currently organising a clothes swap at my University and urge others to do the same.
