Our democratic right to attend parliamentary debates

* We all have the legal and democratic right to attend parliamentary debates: ‘The galleries are open to the public when the Houses are sitting (meeting), which is from Monday to Thursday and on Sitting Fridays, with differing times for each House.' (http://www.parliament.uk/about/visiting/debates.cfm) When we ask for this right, the debate in the House of Commons will be ‘Children, Schools and Family' and the subject of the Lords will be ‘The Counter-Terrorism Bill'.
