The Tissue Issue!'s Blog

One step at a time.
Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all enjoying whats left of summer vacation because before we know it, its back to work work work for us, no?
As for me, I'm still trying to soak up every ounce of summer sun here in New York before heading back to London in a few days time where I'll be starting my third year of university. Although I've had a swell holiday so far, I am also looking forward to getting my head in those books again and just finishing university.
Putting all that serious book-talk aside, I also can't wait to get back to uni for one other reason- I am taking the Tissue Issue to my uni canteen as I am shameful to say that my uni is a culprit of this dirty habit. Besides the fact that our uni canteen is one of the better looking ones I've seen, the tissue mess it has seem to pick up over the years (or NOT pick up, rather! hehe) is quite appaling. Does YOUR uni have this problem too?
I'm quite determined to change this, even if it means starting small. I was having a chat with Mama the other day and she suggested a sign which reads "If you don't need me leave me alone" by the tissue stack. I thought it was pretty funny. But us being uni students and all where we are famous for using the "I have no time" excuse, I think a more powerful take towards this dilemma is in order.
I think thats it from me for now. I will be updating more in the future about changes and progress towards the Tissue Issue. In the mean time, please feel free to comment and share your thoughts.
