About 'Share The World's Resources'

STWR is an NGO campaigning for essential resources - such as land, energy, water and the atmosphere - to be shared internationally and sustainably to secure basic human needs. We aim to unite the environmental, anti-war, end-poverty and other justice movements under a global call for sharing.

How you can help

Climate change and global poverty share common causes - excessive commercialisation and the relentless propagation of market forces - which is championed by multinational corporations, First World governments and key international institutions - such as the IMF, World Bank and WTO.

Calls to cut emissions, increase aid, cancel debt and make trade fairer will never be enough until the failure of market fundamentalism is recognised and the use of essential resources is regulated and shared for the benefit of all people. Greater economic sharing has the potential to create a sustainable world, secure basic human rights, increase international cooperation and foster peace.

If you agree, please join us. We are uniting the various factions within the global justice movement under a universally applicable banner of 'sharing'.
