I demand at least an 80% reduction in Kyoto 2
Most of the industrialised world prefers a 50 - 50 reduction target in Kyoto 2 where the rich countries would only reduce the same amount of CO2 as the third world. Since we, the industrialised world, have created the mess - we also need to clean it up - and in fairneess the developing world has demanded that the industrialised world reduce their emission by at least 80 - 95%. Therefore, if we are to reach a fair and realistic agreement through Kyoto 2 in Copenhagen, we need at least an 80% reduction by the developed world.
