While I as an individual am expected to recycle, the root of the problem is left untouched, with 90% of waste coming from the business sector. Therefore, I call on the Government to change the voluntary participation of the business sector into binding legislation to reduce excess packaging by:

introducing absolute restrictions on packaging;
setting optimal weight regulations on packaging;
introducing targets for biodegradable packaging.
